PTS representatives engaging shoppers at an in-store event

PTS reps don’t hide behind the table — they own the aisle.

  • Engage shoppers, make them laugh, build quick rapport.
  • Explain features & benefits in plain language.
  • Ask for the sale and drive real volume.

Who We Are

PTS is a Southern California in-store marketing company that specializes in high-velocity events for premium health, superfood, and functional brands.

We don’t just “represent” brands — we use our proprietary PRISM process to provoke curiosity, relate to shoppers, involve them in the story, secure the sale, and magnify the impact over time.

Our clients trust us with their reputation and their numbers. That means we only bring in reps who take ownership, learn the training, and show up with conviction.

Psychology-based training

PRISM and Intension training help you understand why people buy and how your mindset changes your results.

Premium brands only

You’re introducing customers to products that are actually clean, effective, and worth getting excited about.

Data & accountability

We track velocity, not vibes. You’ll see your numbers and know exactly what you’re building.

Are You a Fit for the PTS Field Team?

This isn’t a “stand behind a table and stare at your phone” job. We’re direct about who thrives here and who doesn’t.

Apply if you…

  • Light up around people and can build quick rapport with strangers.
  • Enjoy being “on stage” — talking, joking, and educating while you sell.
  • Are coachable and willing to study a training deck before you ever step into the store.
  • Take pride in being on time, prepared, and professional.
  • Like clear goals, sales targets, and honest feedback.
  • Want to grow — in skill, income, and responsibility.

Do not apply if you…

  • Need to be paid to “figure out if you like it” without putting in effort.
  • Hate talking to people or avoid eye contact in public.
  • Expect to stand quietly behind a table and let the product sell itself.
  • Don’t want quotas, goals, or accountability for your results.
  • Can’t show up on time, sober, and reliably when you’re on the schedule.
  • Want to scroll your phone more than you want to grow your skills.

  2. Arrive & set up Show up on time, set a clean, professional table, and make sure the product is faced and full.
  3. Engage shoppers Use PRISM to stop traffic, make eye contact, spark curiosity, and invite them in.
  4. Tell the story Explain what makes the product different — simply, clearly, and with energy.
  5. Ask for the sale Guide the customer to the shelf, ask them to grab multiple units, and validate their choice.
  6. Log results Use our app to report sales, traffic, and feedback before you leave.

How We Train & Support You

We’re serious about performance for the brands — and serious about giving you tools to win for yourself and the brands.

  • PRISM event flow. Learn a step-by-step structure for every interaction, so you’re never “winging it" and your mission is easily achieved.
  • Intension mindset work. Understand your own psychology, break self-defeating patterns, and build a stronger on-floor presence through command.
  • Real feedback, not fluff. We look at sales, engagement, and store feedback to help you improve event by event.
  • Supportive, no-nonsense culture. We want you to win and be your best and will invest in you — as long as you match that effort.

Quick FAQs

Is this a part-time or full-time position?

Most reps start full-time as we invest resources training you. While may be able to work out a part-time plan, we only contract with committed, serious winners.

How does pay work?

Pay structure varies experience and skill but includes an hourly rate and/or event fee that is a minimum of $30/hr, with expectations for sales performance. We will review specifics during the interview for your market.

Do I need prior demo or sales experience?

Prior "demo" experience is usually a hinderence as we employ our own process called PRISM. Sales experience can be helpful. What matters most is energy, coachability, and the ability to tell a story to people comfortably and confidently, and with a cadence.

Where are events located?

Primarily in natural and specialty grocery stores across San Diego, Orange County, and the greater Los Angeles area. We try to keep you within a reasonable radius of your home base.

Is this remote?

No. Events are in stores, with real shoppers and real products. You must be able to be physically present at scheduled events.
